Project

In order to relieve the traffic congestion in the city of Brazzaville, a new road is built along the Congo River, avoiding the coast road.

As part of this road, in the marshy area, the viaduct is connected to a cable-stayed bridge. Works executions calculations are undertaken by the contractor, for which an Independent Checking mission is awarded to the joint venture formed by SGI and setec. Whereas SGI is supervising the works on site and is checking the plans of the viaduct, setec tpi acts as an expert to check the cable stayed bridge.

As setec tpi’s subcontractor, terrasol oversees the checking of all the geotechnical works.

The works were carried out by the Chinese company CRBC and the bridge was completed in the first quarter of 2016.
