Project

« Linked to the urban planning project of the Pleyel District that will welcome one of the strategic future Grand Paris Express stations by 2023, the Pleyel Crossing constitutes a key element of urban connexion. The structure will have an office building attached and it solves the issue of “urban incision” by the tracks north of Paris. Its execution is subject to an international design and construction project management competition.” (Plaine Commune)

A point of connexions and constraints, but first of all a new public space

The Pleyel District has been left out of the development dynamics of the Plaine for very long. The arrival of the Grand Paris “Saint Denis-Pleyel” station (where metro lines 14, 15, 16 and 17 will intersect) was the foundation stone of the crossing structure project. The challenges are big, the available urban space is very limited and the size of the station is very demanding.
