Project

The “Trapeze Park”, located in the heart of the Trapeze Planned Development Area (PDA), on the former site of Renault, establishes a special relationship with the Seine river and enhances the water management of the entire PDA.

Being used to store the floods of the Seine, the rainwater of the PDA and the upwellings of the water table, the Trapeze Park is also an adapting and floodable area.

In addition, the infiltration water of an underground parking within the PDA are constantly pumped out towards the park at a rate of 24 to 40 m3/h.

Key features of this project:

  • The creation of a 7.5ha urban park
  • An urban square of 25 000 m2.
  • 2 large basins (3 750 m2 and 1 100 m2).
  • Creation of a 20 000 m3 flood compensation area for the Seine river and a stormwater retention area for the PAD (6 750 m3).
